Halloween 2014: Sewn Mouth Asylum Patient

Warning: This look is not going to make you look adorable or cute for your next Halloween Party!
Get ready to look sick, sad, and in complete agony.
On a clean face (If you aren't ghostly pale like myself you can apply a pale foundation)  apply red cream makeup around the eye areas and anywhere you naturally get redness when you're sick.
Mixing a few dark purples, lightly apply to all areas you placed the red makeup. Build up darkness in areas you want to look more sunken in. Also apply at the corners of the mouth.
Countour your fave with a gray brown shadow. Apply heavily under the cheek bones, temples, and around and underneath the chin.
Lightly line around the eyes with a soft black liner and blend out with your finger.
With a fluffy round brush, quickly bounce a black shadow on random areas to give the skin a sooty look.

Add color to the lips with out adding moisture by placing a red lip tint on the inner half of the lips.
Make small dots above and below the lips with a black liner. Press gently over top with a red shadow, blending slightly.
For the sewn look you will need spirit gum (you can get this at any Halloween store, just make sure you get the remover with it!) and dark colored thread. Pre-cut your thread to the preferred size. If you want to be able to talk, remember to open your mouth to where it is comfortable and then measure and cut the string.
Using the broken end of a Q-tip, place a small dab of spirit gum on one spot at a time and gently tap with the Q-tip until it gets tacky (you must must tap it! ha). Then place your string. I placed all of the strings up top first and then attached them to the bottom, criss-crossing the two in the middle.
Go over the mouth one last time with red and black shadow to deepen the look.
And YOU'RE DONE!

Thank you so much for reading! This is a super scary and SUPER easy look for this Halloween! If you try it out feel free to send me a picture! Happy Hauntings!
