Current Lipstick Obsession!!

I needed to let you know about this little gem! This is Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick in Violet Frenzy!
The flash on my camera does take away some of the purple tone but rest assured it is there! This color is so beautiful for those girls who aren't really in love with the ever so in REDS and PINKS.
I've never liked the way they look with my skin tone so one day I gave purple a try and (pardon me but) it is the FREAKING BEST!
It is a pale purple but it can be built to a deep opacity. I think this violety pink would be stunning on anyone and the formula is beautiful! My lips always feel great and moisturized, never dry or cakey. This is defiantly the formula where you do the obsessive "lip balm 20 times around your lips" application because it feels so creamy and soft. But just because the lipstick is soothing on your lips doesn't mean it has no staying power. It will transfer but if you aren't messing with your lips all day it will last for a good few hours.
You have to love Revlon's packaging as well! Can't say you didn't know what you were going to get like some other brands! All you have to do is look at the top!

Love this lipstick! Let me know what some of your current obsessions are! I would love to know and try them out!

Rose Tyler Tutorial

My Favorite new age companion will always be Rose Tyler played by the beautiful Billie Piper.
Our movie theater is showing the 50th Anniversary Special tonight so I decided to be festive!
Moisturize, apply foundation and conceal.
Now contour a bit heavier than you normally would. Billie Piper has very thin and defined cheekbones.
I am contouring mine slightly on my cheekbone to make my face look a bit thinner.
Press MAC Cream Color Base in Hush at the top of the cheekbones and slightly on the apple of the cheek to add a bit of glow and color.
Billie has deep colored, arched brows so define the lower half of the front end of your brow with a dark brown pencil.
Now define above the tail of your brow and gently fill the brow in.
This will give the brow a more arched appearance.
Add some brow gel to hold your brows in place.
Press a neutral pale color to the mobile lid.
Miss a cream and deep brown shadow and sweep in windshield wiper motions through the crease line making sure to keep it light and blended. You just want to be adding a bit of a shadow.
Add a white shadow to the brow bone.
(Excuse the fact that my camera was going to die so I saved some battery for the end pictures)
Add liner to the upper and lower lash line. NOT in your waterline.
Now add A LOT of mascara. Rose always seems to have sort of clumpy lashes.
I added some spidery false lashes for effect and...
YOU'RE DONE!

Hope everyone enjoys this fun little look! Put your bangs up with some bobby pins and fluff up your hair a bit and you have perfect Rose Tyler hair!
Let me know how you think I did!
Thank you so much for reading!

Holiday Party Makeup! WHOO!

It's that time of year where we want to look beautiful and dramatic. I would like to help you achieve that!
This look is easy yet super IN YOUR FACE with beautifulness (probably not a word but oh well)!
Start with a completely clean face.
(I know, scary right?!)

Start with the eyes!
Using NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow in Black Bean (or even a black eye liner), draw along the entire mobile lid.
(Starting with the eyes when doing a dramatic look will prevent any fall out from your eyeshadows from ruining your foundation and concealer.)
SMUDGE! Gently smudge the cream shadow up an out to create a blown out effect.
Using the Lorac Pro palette...
With a flat brush press the black shadow on the mobile lid, making sure to the black is opaque.
Using deep purple and a soft pencil brush begin to blend upward into the crease. This color adds so much dimension to the black, and frankly it's purple... I LOVE purple!
Taking a fluffy shadow brush and Pewter blend from the Deep Purple up towards the brow to continue adding depth to your shadow. (Meaning you aren't going to look either like a panda or someone punched you in the face! Not good things people, not good things.)
Clean off your fluffy brush and use the Cream shadow to blend from underneath your brow, down. Highlighting the brow and blending out the darker colors at the same time!
Line your lower lash line with a blue liner and using a small flat brush in Slate, gently smudge into the blue liner.
If you've ever had trouble lining your tightline (upper waterline) here's a trick. Line your lower water line and then blink REALLY hard (don't hurt yourself though) and then reline your waterline.
Then just line your upper lash line with some black liner. I used Jordana Fabuliner in Black.
Foundation and concealer time!
So you don't take away any of your beautiful eyeshadow work, finish your foundation and then dot your concealer underneath your eyes. Take a fluffy brush (even the fluffy eyeshadow brush used earlier will work for this) and sweep back and forth to disperse the concealer evenly and as close to the shadow as you can get. Then take a small fluffy brush with the same shadow you used on the lower lash line and sweep back over to keep the eyes sultry and smokey.
What really makes this look amazing is the Lorac 3D liquid luster drops!! I am in love with this product! Just put a little drop on your hand and then pat it over the black shadow. If you don't have the drops you can use a little eyelash glue and some silver glitter, but I defiantly am a complete fan girl for the luster!
Add some lashes and DON'T FORGET to fill in your BROWS! Especially if they are blonde like mine. You'll end up looking a bit like an alien. No joke!
AND DONE!!
Such a great look! You can pair it with a nude lip...

Or be bold and do a more colorful lip!

 Which one is your favorite?
