Fun Pink Valentines Day Eye

It's getting close to that lovey, dovey, gag me with a spoon time of year again so I figured I would do a fun eye look to get you in the mood!
Start with a white base,
And then press a bright pink shadow over the entire lid.
Press a shimmery pale cream shadow over the inner part of the lid to the center.
Sweep a pale peachy pink shadow into and just above your crease.
This may sound crazy... but take a piece of tape about 2 inches long and stick it to your hand and pull off a couple of times. Then line it up at an angle going with your lower lash like. (Because my computer is special I lost a few pictures showing this step.)

Press a red shadow with a flat brush at an angle on the outer corner and gently sweep inward.
Press a purpley pink shadow on the outer corner of your lid.
Sweep the pink shadow from the outer corner to the inner following just above your crease.
Now blend that inner corner slightly.
Remove the tape and outline the outer corner of the makeup with the dark purple, blending slightly. Line the lower lash line with the lighter purple.
Line your upper lash line in a wing following the shape of the shadow. Using the left over liner, press the brush on the outer corner of your lash line. Line your water line with a pale liner and SLAP on a fair amount of your favorite mascara! AND DONE!!
Maybe add some fun purple lashes!
 Or some fluffy falsies!
Or even exaggerate your lower lash line with a half set of lashes!

How ever you would wear it, I just hope you like it and would have fun applying it!
This is a really fun shadow look that you could use if you were going to a Valentines party or even unparty! Haha! However you are spending the day I hope it is absolutely amazing and wonderful!
Thank you so much for taking some time out of your day/night (currently what's going on in my world!!) to take a look!
Hopefully you love it and feel free to send me a picture if you try it!

DIY Hydrating Body Scrub YAY

A scrub like this is super easy and pretty darn inexpensive to make! You can add or take away any ingredients that you would like buuuuuuuuut I do suggest keeping everything!
You will need:
  • Quick oats
  • Brown sugar
  • Flax seed meal
  • Coconut oil
  • Macadamia oil (I just used a hair oil)
  • A blender
  • An empty container

Measure out half a cup of oats and pulse them in a blender a few times to make them smaller.
Place into your empty container. (I used one that was from an old store bought scrub)
Add 1/4 of a cup of flax seed meal and 1/2 cup of light brown sugar. (You can use regular sugar or even coconut sugar if you want. I just love the smell and texture of the brown sugar.)

Place a T spoon of the macadamia oil and three heavy handed T spoons of coconut oil and melt them together in the microwave for 30 seconds and stir until fully melted together.
Add the oils to the mixture and stir with a fork to make sure you break everything up and get it all mixed evenly.
Your scrub should come out looking a bit like this! I like to keep mine a little loose so when I add water in the shower it looks like...
... THIS! It also won't make you overly oily like some other scrubs!
I took a minute to scrub my hands over the sink so I could show you how moisturized they look once you're done.
Baby butt smooth! And they smell like coconut and sugar!

Let me know if you try this and what you think! I'm always slightly unhappy with store bought scrubs  but this one never disappoints!
It is going to be perfect to help me feel pampered and relaxed on nights like tonight... where there is a ridiculous blizzard of doom happening outside! HA! But really my house sounds like it's going to call over!

Thank you so much for reading! Hope you get a chance to try it out!

Current favorite lip stick.

I just got this lippi recently and I really wasn't sure what to expect.
The Lorac Cream Lipstick in...
Long Kiss!

I got this beauty off the the VIP sale at loraccosmetics.com. So it was pretty inexpensive! Only $9.50.

This is a very pretty peachy pink color. The formula is soft and opaque.
And to be brutally honest with everyone... My lips have been BEYOND disgustingly dry and this formula glides right on top and doesn't look cakey. And the best part is, the longer you leave it on... The BETTER your lips LOOK and FEEL!

There a few more colors to choose from so I would highly recommend getting your hands on at least this color FAST!

Thank you so much for reading and baring with me through my absence.
